Colon Hydrotherapy. What is it?
Colon
hydrotherapy is referred to as colonic's, colon irrigation, or
high enemas. All of these are names for colon hydrotherapy which
uses water for inner cleansing. Colon hydrotherapy is clean and
relaxing. A soothing flow of warm water is instilled gently into
the colon through a nozzle (rectal tube) inserted into the rectum
to cleanse (evacuate) the contents of the lower colon. The system
is designed to allow evacuation of the contents of the colon during
the administration of the colonic irrigation. The pressure, temperature,
and flow of water can all be safely regulated throughout the procedure.
How Does the Libbe Colon Irrigation Device Function?
The Client undresses from the waist down and is properly draped
during the session. The client gently and easily inserts the LIBBE
Rectal Tube in privacy.The LIBBE Rectal Tube, is the "size
of a pencil" individually packaged, sterile, for single use,
and is properly disposed of after use.
Water flows through a Carbon Filter which removes any sediment,
rust, or chlorine.The water is purified by an Ultra Violet - Water
Purification System, before it passes through the LIBBE rectal
tube, and gently into the anus. Feces releases naturally.
A gentle slow rate of purified - temperature safe water is fed
from the gravity-fed column. Less than six gallons of water may
be used during the session at a safe temperature of 98° F
to 102° F. (Water temperature is safely adjusted).
An Odor Exhaust System insures that the session room and entire
center remains totally odor free. The LIBBE base table has a clear
viewing tube (two inches) which allows the client and the therapist
to safely view (without any odor) the feces during releases.
A rinsing sprayer is used to rinse bottom after the session.
Sessions last approximately 45 minutes.
Modesty is protected at all times. A trained colon hydrotherapist
is always nearby to monitor and provide client assistance and
comfort as needed. After each session the LIBBE is easily cleaned
and disinfected.
